GM Art&Music is thrilled to welcome Maestro Daniele Callegari for Worldwide General Management.
Daniele Callegari was Principal Conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice at the Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur from 2021 to 2023. From 1998 to 2001 he was Principal Conductor at the Wexford Opera Festival and from 2002 to 2008 he was Music Director of the De Filharmonie (Royal Flanders Philharmonic Orchestra) in Antwerp.
In 2022 he was appointed Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by French Republic. Born in Milan, he graduated from the city’s Conservatory in double bass and percussion. At just 22, he joined the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra, where he had the opportunity to play with some of the world’s most renowned conductors.
This stimulating encounter with such renowned names brought him back to the Conservatory to study conducting and composition.
