“Superb. The Italian baritone Luca Micheletti gave a standout performance: subtle, wry, vocally assured.”
Fiona Maddocks, THE GUARDIAN
“Micheletti is vocally dominant”
Richard Morrison, THE TIMES
“Micheletti’s vocals are creamy and sultry, it is no wonder everyone falls in love with Don Giovanni.”
Alexander Cohen, THE INDEPENDENT
“Ritmo e fraseggio di palcoscenico sono magistralmente impiegati: Luca Micheletti ha stile e voce, oltre che corpo.”
Angelo Foletto, LA REPUBBLICA
“Voce di baritono robusta e calda, poggiante su un registro centrale bronzeo, e con quella maniera di abitare pienamente il ruolo”
Pierre Géraudie, OLYRIX
“Italian baritone Luca Micheletti gave a splendidly suave performance in the title role.”
William Hartston, EXPRESS
“As for Luca Micheletti, beyond his purely theatrical gifts, he proves equally convincing vocally, with a timbre ideally suited to the Verdi roles he is fully equipped to take on.”
Laurent Bury, CLASSICA
“Luca Micheletti, with a fine stage presence, gives an inward and admirably nuanced performance. The ‘Pietà, rispetto, amore’ of his concluding aria seals the audience’s enthusiasm.”
François Lehel, OPERA
“Micheletti dominated the scene with great stage presence, the right amount of histrionics and a beautiful, multi-colored baritone. He threw himself into ‘Fin ch’ha dal vino’ with fearless passion, while his serenade was a delight of mezza voce and legato. His baritone was strong and well projected, with an impressive breath technique.”
Laura Servidei, BACHTRACK
