Congratulations to our dear Marina Rebeka on being recognized and receiving such a highly esteemed honor as Chevaliere de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres! Marina received the award for her creative works that have made significant contributions to the field of art and literature or who have promoted the prestige of art and literature in France and elsewhere in the world.
In Marina’s own words: “Yesterday night I was honoured with this prestigious award at Latvijas Nacionala Opera un Balets by Manuel Lafont Rapnouil, Ambassadeur de France en Lettonie and in the presence of President of Latvian Republic Edgars Rinkēvics. This came at the end of the second of the two solo concerts promoted in Latvia by Zagara Fonds. Singing at ‘home’ is a a gift which filled my heart with joy and emotion”.
